Dolphin Marine Group was established in 1977 in Alexandria, Egypt, as a specialist provider of life-saving appliance (LSA) and fire-fighting equipment (FFA) services. Today, we operate from six offices across Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Angola – serving commercial vessels, tankers, bulk carriers, and offshore units at more than 140 ports worldwide.
Our service teams are approved by all IACS member Classification Societies – including Lloyd’s Register, DNV, Bureau Veritas, ABS, ClassNK, and RINA – and hold manufacturer authorisations from over 30 lifeboat and life raft makers. Every inspection we conduct meets SOLAS Chapter III requirements and relevant IMO amendments, giving ship operators full confidence in their vessel’s compliance.

Services We Provide
From SOLAS-compliant LSA inspections to fire-fighting equipment servicing and certification, we deliver comprehensive safety solutions for vessels and offshore facilities across more than 140 ports worldwide.
Lifeboat & Davit Inspection
Annual SOLAS inspection, load testing, and 5-yearly overhaul for all types of lifeboats – totally enclosed, free-fall, and rescue boats. Approved service station for 29+ lifeboat and davit manufacturers. Covers MSC.402(96) requirements.
Additional Marine Services
Gas detection system inspection and calibration, load testing, UTI meter servicing, and freshwater analysis. Complementing our core LSA and FFA services across all operating regions.
Safety Equipment & PPE Supply
Supply and maintenance of personal life-saving appliances: SOLAS-approved life jackets, immersion suits, thermal protective aids, EPIRBs, SARTs, and rescue throw lines. Available across all Dolphin Marine branches.
Fire-Fighting Equipment Services
Inspection, hydrostatic testing, and refilling for portable and fixed fire-fighting systems – extinguishers, SCBA, EEBD, CO₂ systems, foam systems, and fire detection panels. Fully compliant with SOLAS Chapter II-2 and the FSS Code.
Life Raft Service & Supply
Annual service, 3-yearly light service, and 5-yearly overhaul for SOLAS-approved inflatable life rafts. CO₂ cylinder hydrostatic testing, exchange agreements, and new unit supply. Authorised by 11+ life raft makers.
Marine Hydraulic Repair & Maintenance
Specialist hydraulic repair and maintenance for lifeboat davit systems, hatch cover cylinders, deck crane hydraulics, and steering gear. Emergency response available. Experienced team based in Alexandria and UAE.
